Rotating globe  by Perigot edited by Delagrave  with a mechanism replicating the  time zone from 1 to 12 in roman number .
Charles Auguste Perigot (1828-1885) was a French geographer , historian  and professeur au Lycee Saint Louis ,  associated with Mouraux as engraver in the production of atlas and terrestrial globe , several with Ikelmer  editor .
The concept of this  cosmograph is from CH. Henard  which also produce similar system with clock  mechanism more decorative in nature .
During the mid 19th  exploration and  science  , being  the center of the cultural activity of this era  , all aspect of representation of the natural world   was created with globe , tellurium , armillary and all form of artifact.

The mechanism is in working order turning the base to  iindicate  on  the different time zone , Alska not yet purchased  still being  Amerique Russe and most of Africa still unexplored place the map of the  globe  around  1850 to 1865  .
